| Content | Chalk Paint 100ml Tester | A warm, slightly creamy, traditional white, Original is the colour of old painted furniture. It is perfectly paired with Duck Egg Blue, Antoinette and Louis Blue for a delicate old distressed French look. 1 Litre of Chalk Paint is enough to cover approximately 8 square metres with two coats depending on the technique used. After painting, seal with either Chalk Paint™ Wax for a soft Matt finish (for interior use only), or Chalk Paint Lacquer for surfaces that may require a more resilient, robust finish such as table tops and floors. Use as is for textured techniques or add a little water as required for a smoother finish. |
Perfect for modern interiors, this cool, clean white makes a crisp contrast with strong colours. Please note: this pure white has the least covering power of all the colours so may require more than one coat or is best applied over a coat of Country Grey.
1 Litre of Chalk Paint is enough to cover approximately 13 square metres depending on the technique used.
| Pearlescent Glaze is a water-based light-reflecting decorative finish suitable for use on both painted or unpainted indoor furniture, walls and floors.
Pearlescent Glaze will give a sublime, high-end, lustrous finish. Apply over Chalk Paint® for a more intense opalescence, this will work best over lighter colours such as Old White. You can also mix Pearlescent Glaze with very small additions of Chalk Paint® to create gently shimmering, translucent shades.
TECHNICAL INFORMATIONAvailable in tins of 250ml. Each tin will cover approximately 6m², coverage is 24m² per litre depending on surface and application. For detailed work apply Chalk Paint® Lacquer over Chalk Paint® before applying Pearlescent Glaze. This ensures that the entire piece of furniture is protected. Alternatively, use Chalk Paint® Wax after applying Pearlescent Glaze details, but please note this will dull the opalescence of finish. Drying time is approximately 2 hours depending on conditions. Pearlescent Glaze is not suitable for outdoor use. | Soft, gentle Paris Grey is inspired by the painted furniture found in elegant French châteaux or old Swedish manor houses. It’s made from a mix of blue and orange, so it works naturally well with these complementaries. Use it over Primer Red or Cream, or with Old White or Original. |
The colour of chalk and gesso, this is a cool soft white without pink or yellow in it. Old White works with everything but for the quintessential French look use it over Paris Grey. It can also be added to any of the other colours to lighten them and make them the exact tone for your room.
